Our highly experienced physicians and nurse practitioner offer the best medical care available for women and their families. We are a reputable medical facility with highly trained nurses and staff. All the physicians at Woodglen are certified diplomats of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
We've been delivering babies in the Glendora and San Dimas areas for more than a quarter of a century. Our exceptional ability to practice quality medicine with a caring atmosphere has kept us busy during those many years. We're happy to say many of those babies have grown up and returned to us to deliver babies of their own.

We offer a wide spectrum of gynecological services for women
including an annual exam, birth control, mammography, bone density
testing and pelvic ultrasound. We specialize in all hormone related
issues such as
abnormal bleeding, pre & post
– menopausal issues.
Our state of the art on-site out–patient surgery center allows
us to perform many of the latest gynecologic procedures, such
as sterilization, Essure (non-incisional permanent birth control),
the new technology TVT
procedure to relieve bladder leakage (an out-patient procedure
with minimal discomfort and rapid recovery).
We perform diagnostic hysteroscopies, resection of fibroids,
endometrial ablation, all in our out-patient surgery center for
your convenience.

Available to all, you don't have to be one of our patients to make an appointment at our facility. However, please check with your health insurance carrier as they may have limitations as to where you can go for your studies.
Ultrasound studies include Levels I, II and III, and amniocentesis. Additionally, for the expectant families, we offer ultrasounds to determine baby’s gender. Our ultrasound department also performs gynecologic pelvic ultrasounds. We also offer 3D-4D imaging. We call it our “Room with a view” You can get aquainted with your little one with black and white or color pictures, a CD or a VHS. Witness your baby up close and personal.
Woodglen's Michel Absi, M.D. has the skills and experience required to perform Amniocentesis in our offices.
Woodglens team of physicians, along with our consulting specialists, offer genetic counseling to patients who have concerns in this area.
The crippling and disfiguring effects of osteoporosis can now be halted when the disease is detected through bone density testing. This simple, non-invasive test tells the physician if the early stages of osteoporosis have begun and whether or not new drug therapy can halt and even reverse the progress of the disease.
For your convenience we provide an on-site laboratory. This allows easy access for you and faster turn around times for your results.
